Girard-Perregaux Opens Flagship Boutique on Madison Avenue
Girard-Perregaux continues its expansion with the opening of its first American boutique at 701 Madison Avenue, the prestigious home to some of the world's finest luxury brands. The Leonori building, constructed in 1902 and designated a city landmark, houses Girard-Perregaux between 62nd and 63rd streets. All of the Brand's collections, including the Haute Horlogerie models and limited editions, are showcased in this elegant space. The boutique's interior architecture reflects the Brand’s commitment to fine craftsmanship, exquisite design, modern technology, and attention to detail. Italian architect Ermanno Previdi followed the design inspiration of the Brand's President, Luigi Macaluso and his son Stefano, Vice President and a trained architect. The new flagship boutique is the Brand’s eighth worldwide, after Gstaad, Beijing, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Macau, Prague and Beirut. It is also a reminder of Girard-Perregaux's historic links with the United States. These date back to
Hands-On: With The Absolutely Insane Blancpain X Fathoms (Live Pics, Official Pricing)
This is a good one, folks.? If you know anything about dive watches, you know that the Fifty Fathoms from Blancpain is often put in the same league as the Rolex Submariner when it comes to category-creating sport watches.? The 50 Fathoms, according to some, even pre-dates the Submariner by a year, and it was used by countless armed forces throughout the 20th century.Today, Blancpain continues the Fifty Fathoms line in a few different varieties, including this guy with a "no radiation" dial, a HODINKEE favorite.? But, the undisputed king of the Blancpain dive watches is this monster you see above, entitled the X Fathoms. 2 OF 14 The X Fathoms is something of a concept dive watch (though indeed put into production and sold via traditional retail channels), that was designed to be the ultimate in mechanical dive tools.? It features all of the following: a mechanical depth gauge, amorphous metal membrane, depth indication on two scales, maximum depth memory with secured reset
Obsession??????
Well guys this is the second time that I make a question about this strange star like form hallmark in my Seamaster, thanks to JJ & Delldeaton who kindly reply to my post & PM. Anyways, for me is a very interesting mark. Ive been guessing that maybe if this is the only one with this mark its make a one of the kind watch, I dont think that this is a non factory hallmark because is to centralize and it looks the same size and deep as the serial # on the watch. I wonder if you guys could check your watches, just to see if they have something similar. I also send some e-mails to Omega but they dont answer, I imagine how much e-mails they receive daily asking stupid questions. Anyone of you know what can I do to investigate about this?? who and where to call?? I honestly dont know where to start. I just keep wondering, do I have an obsession with this mark, or I have a point here???The serial # of my watch is 60174674, I think could be from 1998 or earlier. Just in case if someone h

Clearly in my opinion! The new Pepsi GMT and the Black Bay configurator to suit individual tastes. This is how you do it!
Incoming! BLNR
Wandered into the AD last night to check out the DJII vs DJ41. Have been getting sick of the rising grey market on my two targets - Hulk and BLNR. Figured I'd see what I thought about the DJ (which by the way I love the DJ41 with rhodium dial, fluted bezel, on jubilee - absolutely awesome). While trying on the DJ's, we were talking about the demand of sport models right now and how I'd love a Hulk or BLNR if I could find one. Then he walks in the back and brings a brand new BLNR to me. I whipped out my card and the rest is history. Was originally going to wait for out of state shipping to a relative but we ended up bypassing that. Just picked it up an hour ago on my way to the airport!Pairs nicely with Pepsi!Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
