ever wonder
Well I have been thinking and wondering if anyone else is, why Breitling does not employ a more aggressive approach to advertising and flaughting their history. so my thinking made me look, and all the watch magazines I have nothing is ever said of Breitling. but almost all have some mention of rolex, and most of omega and Pams ( what i think are the closest competitors for Big B) Rolex boasts every chance they get about there water proofness and deepest watch, omega boast about 1st watch on the moon ( what about 1st watch in space) any other thoughs about why Breitling wants to stay quite amongst loudmouths
Any other invitees to the London dinner on 27 May ?
I am the happy recipient of an invitation to the special guided tour and dinner being hosted by Thierry Stern at the Saatchi Gallery on the opening day of the London 175th Anniversary exhibition next week. I was wondering if any other TRF PP aficionados are going to be there and, if so, how we will all recognise one another ??
New 422 and friends
Just went a little deep and picked up a great new 422. Oh and two friends. Thanks George from Govberg.
Visiting Los Angeles soon...
Hello again all!I will be visiting Los Angeles California soon, and am wondering if there is anything watch related that you guys and gals would recommend as a place to visit?Anything in LA, or generally close to LA is viable I just want to see if I can make a few stops at watch places, and see and learn something new It doesn't have to be Rolex, and a place where they sell used or vintage watches would be interesting too.I guess I could sit and google things, but with so many experts on here, I want to hear your input! Many thanks in advance
Who grew to love the 116610?
I'll admit it when the 116610 started showing up I thought Rolex had ruined the most perfect watch ever made the 16610. 8 years later (hard to believe the 116610 is already 8 years old!!) I started thinking about it more and more and looking at more and more pics and articles. Then I tried one on this summer and was like whooooah it's not bad! Needless to say few months later I bought one and don't think I could go back. Now I'll will still admit if it still had all the upgrades and the same lines it would be a grand slam, but even still I have grown to love it and don't plan on looking back.......Anyone else grew to love the 116610 ??
