Cuervo y Sobrinos Opens First Flagship Store in Havana
Cuervo y Sobrinos, the Swiss watch brand with its origins in Havana, is opening a boutique/museum in the central historic district of Havana. CYS will be the first international watch brand to inaugurate its own store on the island of Cuba. El Reloj Cuervo y Sobrinos is located in a historic 19th century building opposite the brand’s original headquarters. Inside, one can enjoy a boutique and a museum with antique watches, writing instruments and memorabilia. An elegant bar and coffee bistro provides a gathering spot that will take visitors back to the Havana of the 1940s. In this refined Art Deco ambiance, the original vault from the old store on San Rafael is displayed. Well now that I have my formal wear for elegance and special events (though it will get a lot of wrist time) watch (Rado Sintra) I am aiming for this new Breitling Colt as my everyday watch. I️ am the biggest fan ever of the Explorer, but surprisingly don't have one at the moment. Just received my new Omega Railmaster today. Couldn't be happier. I️ don't typically like to buy without seeing a watch in person, but since this one's been out of production a while, I️ didn't have any choice.
