For what I think is the first time, aBlogtoReadwatches-dealer is offering a woman's watch as a giveaway item this month - and it is a cool one. Up for grabs is this Tissot limited edition Danica Patrick edition ladies PRC 200 watch. Racing inspired for Danica, the PRC 200 is 39.8mm wide in a steel case that is water resistant to 200 meters. Inside the watch is Swiss quartz chronograph movement. Attached to the case is a pearlized white strap with orange contrast stitching. Retail price is $895 and these watches are limited to 4,999 pieces. Enter to win one belowTo Enter You Must: 1. The Horological Society Of New York Introduces Watchmaking 101, A Public Class Sponsored By The HODINKEE Fund
In the 1950s, students at New York City high schools had the opportunity to take a class on watchmaking. This class was taught and the curriculum developed by members of the Horological Society of New York. Today, HSNY and HODINKEE are teaming up to announce Watchmaking 101, a revitalized version of this initiative. 2 OF 63 Watchmaking 101 is a single-session class in which professional watchmakers teach students will learn how a mechanical watch movement works and the fundamentals of using watchmaking tools. In this hands-on class, students will also learn to disassemble and reassemble a mechanical watch movement. 3 OF 63 Previous experience is not required, the class is free, and there is no need to be a member of HSNY. And unlike the 1950s version of this class, you won’t need to be a student at a New York City high school – Watchmaking 101 is open to the public. 4 OF 63 The first Watchmaking 101 class was held on February 16th a

GMT IIC 126710BLRO vs 116710LN
I was curious to compare the differences between the case design of the new 126710BLRO vs the 116710LN.So I did some photoshopping to compare the two watches.Images are taken straight from Rolex and were not resized when I created the overlays. I would venture out and say that I can see how the BLRO lugs are a tiny bit narrower but that is really not much in my opinion.GMT COMP_Summary.pngSince I was at it, I also made a mockup of what I believe will become the 126710LN next year or the following.
