Ball Fireman Storm Chaser DLC
As you may guess from the name, the Fireman Storm Chaser pays tribute to Ball Watch explorer Dr. Josh Wurman. The white on black design symbolizes lightning in the dark, and the caseback bears an engraving of the Doppler On Wheels vehicle that lets Wurman get up close and personal with tornadoes. Find wallpaper and pricing inside. The 43mm stainless steel case is DLC coated (diamond-like carbon) for superior scratch resistance and longevity. The crystal is glare-proof, scratch-resistant sapphire. With the tachymeter, the wearer can measure speed over a given distance. The telemeter makes it possible to easily calculate the distance between the observer and a situation that is observable both visually and audibly (like lightning and thunder) based on the speed of sound through air. Below the dial is an ETA caliber 7750 automatic chronograph movement. The case is 15.8mm thick, and Ball claims it can withstand a 5000G shock. Water resistance is 100 meters.Ball Watch applies its 3H techn
Used Speedy Pro
Here is my dilemma, should I buy a slightly used 50th anniversary Speedy or save a little money and get a yr or two old 3570.50 in better condtion?
Crown Guard question...
Has anyone ever had just a crown guard replaced due to a ding or nick? Or does anyone know if it's possible even?Any first hand experience and info is appreciated...Also curious as to an approximate price....realizing that it would vary depending on the model.thanks!
Datejust 41 and wrist size
Hi, I am looking into buying my first real watch and fell for this Datejust 41 with smooth bezel and jubilee bracelet. The thing is, I got fairly smart wrists. Do you guys think this watch looks too big on me?
Yachtmaster Bezel Tarnish?
I am very interested in buying a TT Yachtmaster. However, I would like to know other's opinion and/or clarification/experience with what appears to be a common tarnish/grime buildup on the unpolished portion of the bezel (within the nooks and crannies). Nearly every image of the watch that I see in new or factory/unworn condition spotlights this issue. It is basically a deal-breaker for me if this is the norm for this model, Thanks.
