Carl F. Bucherer’s triple-time-zone chronograph watch, the TravelTec, gets a matte-black makeover at Baselworld 2016. Previously available in steel and rose-gold variations, the newest version of the Carl F. Bucherer Patrvai TravelTec features a scratch-resistant black DLC coating.The wafer-thin but exceptionally durable DLC (diamond-like carbon) finish on the TravelTec is applied in a multi-stage process, enhancing both the scratch-resistance and shock absorption of the 46.6-mm stainless steel case as well as the stainless steel bracelet (which is outfitted with a black DLC-coated folding clasp). The dark, monotone look echoes that of the black dial, which displays three time zones simultaneously, the third by means of a central red hand pointing to a rotating 24-hour scale on the dial’s flange. It’s been 125 years since the Statue of Liberty �� a gift from the French to the United States to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence �� was first erected in New York Harbor. Hello everyone I'm new to TRF and have a question:I have a Omega 50TH Anniversary Limited Edition number 0329/5957 in excellent condition without B&P. I purchesed it pre-owned from an authorized Omega dealer. What do you think its worth if I wanted to re-sell?. I tried to post a picture but I can because I have not posted 16 post yet. Dating a vintage Omega
I read somewhere that if you send your vintage Omega to Bienne for a service they will return the watch with a report on date of build,sale date etc,is this true?if so, is it possible to get this info without sending the watch to Bienne,I have seen the Omega dates lists around but I beleive they could be out +/- a year or two,or are these date lists about as near as I'm likely to get to knowing the date of my watch? cheers
