AP Forged Carbon Grand Prix 2.0
Thanks to TSW for posting pictures of the Rose Gold Grand Prix with the optional Ceramic Bezel. I immediately set out to have the same treatment done to my Forged Carbon Grand Prix and am very pleased! Similarly, I had the date wheel changed to the black with white font. From the second I picked up this watch two and a half years ago, the forged carbon bezel was my biggest complaint when the edges immediately started rubbing off with just my fingers. Over time, the sharp edges of the bezel started looking more and more worn and rounded. Then the new novelties arrived and their ceramic bezels were scratchproof, shiny yet subtle and just upped the classiness of the watches. Fast forward to now, after a long 9 weeks in Clearwater, my issue is finally resolved and the Grand Prix is how it should have always been. Was thinking Diver...now I'm thinking 15400...
I was initially planning to get the AP Diver to replace my Rolex Sub-C. I Went and put it on (and of course fell in love), but having it on I realized that it just didn't work in all situations like my Sub. I put on the 15400 and was equally mezmorized. So that got me thinking. Would the 15400 be more of a direct replacement for the Sub? I don't want to turn this into Rolex vs. AP, but can the 15400 do everything the Sub does (besides diving)? It is technically a 'Sports watch'. Would you swim with it? I think it goes from dress to casual just as well as the Sub. What say you?I just can't justify having both. Rolex ownership just isn't doing it for me anymore. I want an AP! I just need it to do everything my Sub does. Anyone else been in the same boat?

Explorer link, Recommendations
Had my new Explorer sized and link adjustment done by local watch / jewelry store and they botched the link screw (rough and a bit sharp) as well as the link is now stiff and not moving as it should. The closest AD is a day trip and with the holidays there's no time. The watch fits perfectly now but when I️ run my finger along the bracelet it's rough at that spot and that doesn't bode well with me. So, I️ want it fixed like new with smooth screw heads and a link that moves freely. Anyone have a recommendation as to who I️ could send it to to fix it that could do a quick turnaround? I️ don't think it's a big issue at all for someone that knows what they're doing. I️ also have read that each link screw is sized for the individual link and that you can't just use any link screw as it were. So TRF, what would you do and who would you send it to?
