The Autodromo Monoposto is the kind of watch that can't help but illicit strong reactions from people. It doesn't look quite like any watch you've seen before, yet doesn't betray what a watch should be. AP ROC back from its Virgin Europe Trip
I was on a business trip to Europe for two weeks in September. Besides attending one of the biggest rail trade fair, Innotrans 2012, in Berlin, I also visited Munich and London. Works aside, the trip would not be completed without some sightseeing, as well as a once-in-a-lifetime experience to the Oktoberfest at its place of origin in Bavaria of Germany. With so many actions happening during the trip, I'm really pleased to say that my ROC, the only watch I brought along with me, has weathered extremely well as a competent and enjoyable travel companion. ================================================== =====================================A short review, or rather a sharing of impression, of my ROC 26300 White dial... Omega SMP chronograph advice needed...
My Omega AD has a NOS 2954 that I'm really considering buying .It has the cal. 33XX movement which is itself based on a highly regarded F.Piguet movement. I know Omega had some teething problems with it at first, but for a free sprung, column wheel movement it is a very decently priced watch IMHO...I also love the fact that is does not have a wave dial while the bezel numbers font is much more attractive to me than the bond chrono . Now if one compares it to 2225.80 SMP Bond chrono I believe the pushers on the 2594 are less spaced apart and I also believe the shape case is different. Can anyone confirm if the 2594 is thinner and also the crown guard is different? So are the cases different completely ? And now the watches in question..What are your opinions on both? Thanks for any help in advance .

London Exhibition - many photos!
Hi allI was fortunate to attend a private party last night and it is a fantastic exhibition! I was in fact so busy looking at the watches, chatting and taking pictures that I missed out on supper lol. It really was amazing and I thought I would share some pictures of some watches that we don't see everyday. There was one watch that one guest let me take a picture of (the only wrist shot).
