SOMEGA Seamaster Planet Ocean Sochi 2014 Olympic Winter Games
To commemorate these unique Olympic Games, OMEGA has created two special editions of its Seamaster Planet Ocean wristwatches to commemorate the Sochi 2014 Olympic Winter Games. The OMEGA Seamaster Planet Ocean Sochi 2014 watches have been created in ladies' and gents' versions, each in an edition of 2,014 piecestrtsjwIt is the first time that happens to me this with a watch! I expected better quality for a watch of 5000 euros. Has something similar happened to someone?I am very disappointed with this watch.
Patek Philippe Ladies 7011/1
My research shows me that the 7011/1 ladies Nautilus was only made in either white or Rose gold.My watch looks quite yellow gold in appearance. Does any other member think that the Patek Philippe Rose gold Nautilus looks a shade of yellow? Thanks.Phil
Just for fun.
Let's say just for fun that you are able to have 10 Patek watches, that price is not important, which ones would you get?Try to imagine the ten you would like to have to make your collection the best it could be in your opinion, you can put the ones you already have and the ones you would love to get but for the total to be equal to ten.My selection would be 5070P, 5131R, 5159R, 5167R, 5204P, 5213G, 5270G, new version with blue dial, 5370P, 5711-1R, 5712-1A, here are pics of my 10 piece selection, I think it would make a pretty well rounded collection, what do you think?Don't hesitate to write what your ten would be, and like always on TRF pics are very welcome 5070p-001-82.jpg5131R_001.png5159R_001.png5167R_001.png5204P_011.png
Gold Rolex, douchey or classy?
I reckon a guy over 35 in a suit can easily pull of a Sky-D in yellow gold or even an all gold sub. For the under 35 crowd in casual clothing I would say stay the hell away from an all gold watch. Somehow it just gives of the vibe of trying too hard and tacky. What do you guys think?
Can't Decide??
I am torn. I am looking at getting my second Rolex and I can not decide between a Rolex Submariner Date and No Date. I keep getting drawn to the no date because it seems less common but wonder if I will get annoyed having to pull my phone out to check the date ( I sign a lot of documents). I keep heading into my local AD and they do not have either one in stock which make the decision harder as I have not been able to try one on. Thanks for everyones thoughts.
