Got to share my vintage Navitimer. Any info greatly appreciated!
Hi All,Have been looking out for a vintage Navitimer for a while and think I got it sorted. Its a black on black dial and has a serial number from 1955 I think. The interesting thing is that it has no wings on the dial, only a B above Breitling and the balance cock has BOW on it rather than the usual WOG. Does anyone know why?I have also the receipt for a service from 2006, so I am pretty sure it is all genuine....I hope. Many thanks, hope you like it.

My Moon Watch has arrived!
Thank you for all the valuable advice from the esteemed members of the Omega forum of TRF. I've been keeping my eye out for a 3570.50, and it was harder, than I thought, to find here in Hong Kong pre-owned.Today I stumbled into a vintage watch store and found a 3570.5000, complete with box, papers, and hangtag. It is in fantastic condition for a 12 year old watch that has not been serviced. There is a small ding on the bezel at 6 o'clock and the lume on the hour and minute hands are starting to fall off. I figure I would be servicing anyhow so the above wouldn't matter. Here's a picture of the newest addition to my collection:Would you take it to an official Omega Service Center or do you think an independent watchmaker would do? I would be looking to have the movement serviced, cleaned (lume bits are present), and water pressure tested.A BIG thank you to Fr. John for his knowledge and advice!Cheers,Eric
GMT 16700 Service Help in Baltimore
Last year I bought my 16700 Pepsi GMT through the forums from springer. It was a great transaction and everything was as promised. Today I noticed that it has stopped running. It winds and sets perfectly, but the second hand does not advance once the crown is secured. I gave my wrist a shake and noticed about 1 second of movement before the second hands stops and oscillates slightly. This is repeatable. Looking for some advice as to what the issue may be and any recommendations for local service in Baltimore area. I have a video of the oscillation, but can't seem to post it at the moment. Thanks!ChadSent from my SM-G950U1 using Tapatalk
