Need your opinions!
I am about to pull the trigger for a third watch. I currently have an AP 15400 Blue dial and Ebel 139 Tekton. (You are probably questioning why would he even have an Ebel in the collection? Because I received as a gift).I narrowed down my choices to Rolex Daytona white face, Rolex Submariner LV, Pre-owned AP Diver, or IWC Ingenieur. I will appreciate your inputs!
New Aquanaut clasp/deployant
What are the chances Patek will let us order the new Aquanaut clasps? I know that we can easily order replacement rubber straps. Has anybody had luck in ordering the clasps in the past?
PAM384 opinions
Hello! First time poster alert. Have toyed with the idea of buying a Panerai over the past several years and feel more ready now to make a purchase. After seeing a PAM384 at an AD I have found myself pretty much settled on one however opinions are rather sparse online. Does anyone own or have experience of the 384? I would most like buy in the uk, second on my list would be a PAM643.
Panerai 000 or 005?
Which do you like better the panerai 000 or 005?
awesome...
Hi Guys... This is a watch you do not see everyday... here she is.. one of my favourates and this is why.. because for me it represents a lot of soul.... and demonstrates Panerais's Engineering Might and its ability to cater for the best......Mike Horn (a great South African modern day explorer, Chris must be pleased) started testing Panerai watches in 2001.. he planned a trip to treck the Antarktic and Panerai designed a special watch for him. it was AMAGNETIC where all the components would not get effected by the magnetic field and it also had special fluids as to operate on extream temperature.. Mike horn wore the watch during his trip and said at under -70deg C, all his sophisticated instruments froze on him with the exception to the Panerai ARKTOS. the Pam 92 ARKTOS was issued as limited edition of 500 in 2004.. after the first stage of the treck Mike asked for the watch to be modified to have the GMT function... Panerai then quickly modified the watch and sent it to him... hence
