Survivor ROO
Hi Guys : Thinking about getting something out of the norm for a ROO. Been thru multiple 44's want something that's different and stands out. Something that is uncommon to even someone who knows and owns AP's. The survivor comes to mind. Looking for input on the model, I know it's a love or hate it piece because of the push guards, case & bezel design but that's what's attracting me to it. Would love to hear your thoughts. Found a mint one on TRF complete set for 31K. Here are some pics for reference. Happy 4th to us Americans !
Cosmonaut
What is a steel&gold Cosmonaut worth today???
How does is GMT look to you?
Had met a gentlemen selling this yesterday and it appeared that the thing was genuine however the date refused to change so I'm thinking there was something wrong with the 1128 movement. The time was set to safe date change hours (not between 8pm and 2am) but using the hour hand jumping it simply would not change the date to the 6th. Then I tried the the long way with the 24h hand going all the way around past 12 multiple times. Afterwards I checked photos from the listing and the date was still at the 5th so it hasn't changed since he listed for sale. The serial engraving looked a little shallow but the dial and other details looked perfect. How does it look to you?
need help identifying approx age etc
Hello. I have an old Omega that my mother passed down to me and I'm thinking about having it serviced or possibly restored (but I don't know anything about it). My mother said it belonged to her father and she thinks it was given to him by his father (my mom is 75 years old). Could this watch be from the 40's or 50's? The case is 18k. Amazingly, it keeps good time! I'd still like to either get it restored or at the very least, a servicing and new straps. I'd love to hear any information that someone might be able to provide (and I can take more pictures). Not a watch I'd ever sell, just would love to know more about it. Thanks in advance for any information.A
New PO XL 8500...love it
Just got my PO XL 8500. Love the watch. I was torn between the 42 and 45 and am glad I picked 45. Feels perfect. Some quick cell phone pics.
