Talking Watches: With Alan Maleh
Alan Maleh is a collector. He's a collector of art, of furniture, of classic automobiles, and of watches. He's also the founder and publisher of an upstart magazine called Man of the World. Hot on the heels of the release of its seventh issue, Maleh's brainchild has become one of the most interesting, creative, and talked about publications in the world for its unrelenting looks at craftsman and artists doing things the old-fashioned way, coupled with incredible original and archival photography. Maleh and his magazine are both particular and unabashed in their focus, and today I am proud to present you with an inside look at this taste-maker's personal wristwatch collection. This is Talking Watches with Man of the World founder Alan Maleh. 1 OF 20 Alan is a serious watch lover. Small wrist ~6 inches, 15300?
With all this enabling going on, I am headed no where fast. I mean seriously a drug habit would probably be cheaper....Just wondering for those with small wrists, how does the 15300st work for you guys?I have really small exactly 5.75 wrists, oval rather than flat top.For reference, I have a 14060m that I wear a little loose with all removable links removed. I have a luminor case 44mm Panerai that I wear thanks to an aftermarkt leather strap that barely works. Before I plunk down $10+ K, any input would be greatly appreciated. I know the diameter is 39mm, but it has long lugs and wears way bigger right?I live in a provincial part of the country. The nearest AD is in Dallas 5 hours away. So no way I can get away for the weekend to try one on.Thanks in advance....

Strap Compatibility?
Can a Patek Philippe strap, marked D for deployment buckle, be used with a traditional pin-buckle? What difference is there? Length?
Who, what, where is the competition for the Aquanaut 5167
is it the only watch of its kind from one of the big names in Haute Horology?specifically, SS on a rubber strap, with the dimensions of a classic dress watch?as much as i like them, leather straps just don't fit my needs and the larger watches are sometimes too much. What is the competition for the 5167?
