Help Choosing A One Watch Daily Wearer
Hello everyone. First off, I'm a long time lurker on the forums and grateful for all for the information (and enabling) I've gathered. Been saving up a while now for my first big purchase as a daily wearer. A recent stroke of luck at the casino finally put me over the top, and now I have the problem of making a final decision and pulling the trigger. I figure what better way to do so than seeking the advice of the fellow watch maniacs here?I've narrowed it down to these options:1) AP Royal Oak 15400/15450 (probably white dial)2) AP Offshore Diver (black)3) Rolex Datejust 41 126331 (Everose gold, Chocolate Dial, Jubilee, Fluted)All are pretty close in terms of price. I've been waffling back and forth on pretty much a daily basis. So I've tried to break it down into a list of pros/cons:Royal Oak: Pros:1) I love the bracelet and the overall finish of the piece. Just a beautiful watch.2) Exclusivity. There are no AP boutiques or AD's within a few hundred miles of where I live, so it se

Omega Speedmaster Opinions?
Hi troops:I have owned a Speedmaster Day-Date, which I sold to fund the purchase of my 16710 GMT.I always liked the Speedy Pro, even though you have to wind the movement every day and even though there's no date. The movement, plexiglass crystal and matte dial are the same basic design used by NASA to equip their astronauts on lunar missons. Gotta love that! There is a 50th anniversary Pro out this year; instead of going towards a Sub LV, I may save a few K and consider the Speedy Pro (anniversary if possible) or a Kobold Soarway Diver.Any thoughts or opinions?Cheers,Chris
Its the year of the Rolex Master GMT ii, But...
Are the 24hr number markers on the bezel are too big that it seems to look so busy and cluttered? I understand that they’ve changed also the Dial from Maxi Dial from it’s previous predecessors that’s why they’ve increased the size of the numbers on the bezel. I used to own a GMT Black LN, function wise it’s a perfect daily and travel watch but i’ve got tired of it, i’ve sold it and never looked back. Has anyone here thinks that the Tudor BB GMT Pepsi has a better proportions and blending compare to the New Rolex Pepsi? I guess i’m leaning more with the Tudor BB GMT. we’ll see it in a couple of months.
