This or that?!
Hi guys,I have a problem and I need your help! I have started to look for a second watch and currently, I have narrowed it down to these 2 beauty's:The 116618LN gold Rolex Submariner Ceramic:Or the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Openworked Selfwinding I own a steel Rolex SubC 116610LN and that's what makes if so difficult! I would like to have a gold watch but if I pick the gold SubC, then I would have 2 of the same watches (you know what I mean ;)). If I pick the AP, it will be again be a steel watch. The SubC has a date what is handy at work and I have always loved a gold Submariner, but the AP is more Haute Horlogerie for me...I also think same will be in the same price range, no?So guys, please, I want to know your opinions! Thanks!
When it is an Omega incoming, it is always special
Not something you see frequently but I came across this vintage Omega Seamster 145.029 from 1970 (3.2M serial) with its original 1171 bracelet and 653 end links. I think it was in the early 70's where you see the renaissance or some of the most creative and colorful chronograph dials being produced by Omega. The unique orange hands really contrast well against the blue on this bird. The caliber 861 was verified and what a beautiful movement it is to gaze at. She is still ticking strong after 47 years. What a cool bird she is and just loving it!!Few shots with CK today~
Which dome crystal model?
Currently looking to sell my 164 and get a dome crystal style. What options do you recommend? Recently fell in love of domed crystals after seeing my friend's 233. Can't really afford the 233 now though....The 422 is great but I am not sure about a 47. What else is there? (No radiomirs).
Exp. I crown unscrewed
While wearing my Explorer 2 42mm which is less than a year old, I have a few times noticed the crown being unscrewed about 3 or 4 turns. Do you think this is a problem or just happens sometimes with the movement of wearing it. I always screw it down tight. I have only noticed this probably 3 times. But it bothers me. Any thoughts?
