Franck Muller v Audemars
Hello,This is my first post for a while and was wondering if we have any Franck Muller aficionados out there? I'm trying to decide between a King Conquistador in SS or an AP Royal Oak in rose gold. I'd love if anyone owning either of these two watches could chip in with any information they may have in terms of reliability, as I'm struggling to find any real information about FM online.
just got my Bentley GMT in today
love it, I think it's better than any Rolex made!
Help me choose my next Omega
Hi guys,I am currently contemplating my next purchase. Having purchased my Rolex GMTIIc TT a month ago, I have been wearing that watch five days a week for the whole past month and I have realized that its looks too flashy and stupid on a pair of jeans or hoodies. Im thinking of keeping that watch for dressier occasions and getting an Omega Seamaster for casual everyday wear.I have previously owned an Omega SMP 300 quartz 'bond' and sold that because I couldnt stand the fact that it was quartz. I also owned an Omega PO 2500 42mm in black, and sold that because it looked too plain. Now I want something that looks sporty. My choice is between:- PO 8500 Black w/orange markers 42mmUploaded with ImageShack.usPros:- 8500 movement, ceramic bezel looks superbCons:- is it worth the extra $$$??- PO 2500 Orange 42mmUploaded with ImageShack.usPros:- Sleek, lightest weightCons:- Possible issues with 2500 movement, looks outdated?- PO Chrono Orange *Used*Uploaded with ImageShack.usPros:- Nice chunk o
Complimentary Panerai
I love my Panerai watches. It's nice to have a different case plus a different look. For example, I have a 112 (Luminor 44mm, no date, no seconds hand, sandwich dial) and a 514 (Radiomir, 50s style case, transition type model, 47mm, date and seconds). Very different watches. Both have rather flat sapphire crystals. I'm going to get a 424 next - round crystal, classic Radiomir case/lugs and very different California dial. No date of course. What are your favorite combos? A joy to finally own a Daytona 16520
A little late, a little more than I had planned to spend two years ago, and a few frustrating false starts but just as much pleasure as I had hoped. Happy to join you all in owning one of these iconic pieces.
