keeping capabilities of the regular Alain Silberstein watches
For those of you who don't remember, it featured all of the amazing time keeping capabilities of the regular Alain Silberstein watches, with an added feature. It had a tiny calculator complete with miniature keypad built into the watch. During its hey day it was the bane of math teachers everywhere and the savior of every math deficient student.
The Breguet Tradition Automatique Seconde Retrograde 7097
There are a lot of intense words in Breguet's press release for this watch – "outstanding," "faultless," "peened" – that lead me to believe they are still basking in the glow of that 2014 Grand Prix Aiguille d'Or. Make no mistake, however – the Tradition Automatique Seconde Rétrograde (which makes its formal debut at Baselworld) is a very different watch than the Classique Chronométrie that took home the watch industry's top honors. Which to get?
Another poll question for my friends in TRF. I currently own a 5726-1a slate dial which I was contemplating to sell however things have changed and I have decided to hold onto it. I want to add another Patek and have looked at other models but other than a Nautilus nothing has catched my eye. I was thinking of adding another 5726a on a strap but having second thoughts of having identical watches. The other choices in mind is a 5712-1a or 5980-1a Black Dial. I like the white 5711 but not as much as the other two. Out of these 3 what do you recommend? and why? I appreciate all of your inputs!
Finding archived Rolex website
Does anyone know if it is possible to find archived versions of Rolex websites. I just thought it would be nice to nostalgically be able to look at the site for example from 2007, when I was first looking at my Sea-Dweller.
Red letters on SD43 first year only?
I read somewhere (likely here on TRF) that the red letters on the SD43 are going to be for the 1st year only. Is that true or is it merely a rumor?
