Hands-On: With The New 39 MM Rolex Oyster Perpetual
A question we receive from readers all the time is, "I have around $5,000 to spend, and I want one watch I can wear every single day, and will last me the rest of my life – what do I buy?" There are plenty of good options, certainly, but not many great options. If we are talking about a product that will last a lifetime, we tend to think of blue-chip lines from Omega, JLC, IWC, and certainly, Rolex. Today at Baselworld, Rolex showed us a brand new watch that we think might become a stock answer for the question above – a new Oyster Perpetual, now in 39 mm, and retailing for $5,700. 1 OF 4 The Oyster Perpetual is the entry level Rolex (RIP "Air-King"), but still one of the absolute core products of the collection. The Oyster Perpetual comes in five, yes five, different case sizes, with the latest being a perfect 39 mm. The new 39 mm OP also has some updated dials including a beautiful dark rhodium with a sunray finish. The OP is also made s

Bobby Axelrod is wearing a Royal Oak Chronograph. To me it looks like a 25860 or 26300. Blue Dial. From Season 2, Episode 6.
SMP, blue or black?
Hi, I am planning to buy an Omega, SMP co-axial is one of my favorites. I have some questions and need your advice ^^ I can't decide Black or Blue SMP. Black: I like this color more, it can be casual or formal. Blue: This color is more classic, an icon color. But Blue seems casual, not as versatile as Black. Questions are: 1. Whether James Bond ever wear Black SMP? Or Bond only wears Blue? 2. The bracelet of SMP is without fine adjustment. Would this bracelet fit your wrist without any difficulties, by using the half link? A few SMP owners are complaining about the bracelets are either too loose or too tight, even using the half link. 3. Which color your suggest? I tend to choose Black, but I also think Blue is good. :P Sorry for so many questions. For your reference, I attach a pic as above. The left two are what I am considering. It is borrowed. I am quite headache about these two colors. I really need your advice. ^^
Just got 5711 white dial, would you sell for yellow gold day date 40mm?
Hi Guys.I just bought my first patek 5711 white dial. I had a rolex gmt blnr that I traded in to get the 5711. I have always wanted a gold watch, but think it might be a bit much for a 31 year old. Would you trade the 5711 in for a yellow gold day date 40mm? Should I keep the 5711 and save for the day date? Keep the 5711 and buy another blnr? Let me know. Thank you
