JS Watch Frisland 1941 Aviator
Icelandic watchmaker JS Watch has just announced a beautiful new aviator called the Frisland 1941. Part of the Frisland collection, the 1941 is a classic looking Pilot watch with a little bit of JS Watch flair to it. The watch has a retro World War II look to it in honor of the Reykjavik airport that opened in 1941 during World War II. It was built by the British in Iceland and in 1946 was handed over to Iceland's sovereign government to run on their own. Apparently the area did serve as an airstrip before the formal airport was built, but that is enough history to justify the production of this watch collection. As a pilot watch, the Frisland 1941 is very humble in stature being 42mm wide. We know that pilot watch sizes can get very large, but that is inline with the heritage of the genre. Pilot watches that are too small just don't look right in our opinion. Old school Breitling Navitimer
Given to me by my father. The second of his two nice watches he ever bought. This one he bought as he used to fly.He owned a Single Prop back when I was young, wantedme to learn to fly and was going to give me the plane...After a couple lessons I realized I liked to party too muchand didn't like to get up that early (this was when I was incollege and high school) but most importantly I just didn'tlike being in control of the plane... I am a great passengerbut don't wanna have the stick...I wear it a couple times a month, it is not my typical stylewatch but I like it and always get compliments on it.IF anyone here knows more about the history of this modelI'd love to hear...

How good is Omega's customer service?
I have a chance to purchase a Seamaster and was curious to how well Omega stacked up to Rolex in customer service. Can I expect almost the same dependability from Omega that one can expect from Rolex or something different? Thanks!
Buying pateks (no box no papers) good idea?
Hi all,So I have narrowed it down to either a 5726 white dial orThe 5712. The 5712 is from a very trustworthy dealer but it doesn't have box and papers. How important is it to have box and papers when purchasing a Patek?
