The brand itself is enough advertisement
The brand itself is enough advertisement. You do not have to come up with catchy ads. You also do not have to exhaust yourself trying to convince someone to buy the watch. All you have to do is surf the net and find yourself an established company to give you top dollar for your watch.
Saturday Morning Rewind: One Year Ago This Weekend, We Went Inside Rolex, And Boy Did You Guys Like
The goal with HODINKEE was always bringing you guys into a world that is, at times, seemingly surrounded by a cement wall of European conservatism and secrecy. Whether it's sitting down for a beer with an NBA all-star or silicon valley visionary, witnessing how one of today's modern masters make his masterpiece , or an in-depth, hands-on with the man who designed the most complicated wristwatch in Patek Philippe's history, I feel pretty good about saying we're doing our job. Still, one story in this category rises above them all to take you someplace where few have ever or will ever have access – inside Rolex. It was this weekend one year ago where I published the 10,000 word story that takes you, the HODINKEE reader, inside incredible, clandestine world of the most important watch brand in the world. 1 OF 1 HODINKEE is one of a small handful of outlets ever invide its Bienne facility, where movements are produced. Visit to the Audemars Piguet Museum. An Unforgettable Experience
As many of you know, a few weeks ago I had the opportunity to visit the AP Museum in Le Brassus. Here are some pictures of that unforgettable day and the rest of the story and more pictures are here. We started our journey by driving from Zrich to Le Brassus. I switched watches a few times to send out a few tweets while on our way to Audemars Piguet. Finally we arrived at the Valle de Joux. After admiring the landscape we made it to the manufacture and then to the museum. What a day!
Seamaster AT or Deville Prestige?
Hello there,It's my first time writing here I'm going to buy a fine watch to wear on a daily basis and found these two:It's really hard to choose between them, they both look nice. The Deville Prestige is 32.7 mm, automatic and wather resistant and the Seamaster AT is 30 mm, quartz and water proof. BTW, I'm a 31 year old woman and have a pretty small wrist. Will be glad to have some opinoin here,Thanks
Why isn't the GMT also known as "The Moon watch"
In 1971 the entire NASA team wore Pepsi GMT's on their mission to the moon. This seems to be an important moment in Rolex history, doesn't seem to get mentioned much..rolexmagazine/2008/06...story.html?m=1
