SIHH 2010: Ralph Lauren Slim Classique Collection
White gold, rose gold and platinum cases just 5.35mm thick enclose an ultra-thin Piaget caliber RL430 that is only 2.1mm thick. The thin, round case offers a polished case back that is ideal for personalized engraving. Two rows of diamonds around the bezel surround an elegant silvered opaline dial featuring a delicate barleycorn guilloch pattern. The roman numerals sit atop a second guilloch pattern, and these, along with the Breguet hands, give this Slim Classique a decidedly formal attitude. The bezel carries over the barleycorn guilloch along with two rows of 96 round, brilliant-cut stones totaling about 1.11 carats. Each gem is grain set. The case measures 42mm in diameter and is water resistant to 30 meters. The mechanical manual winding movement, made by Piaget for Ralph Lauren, has a power reserve of 40 hours. You can read more about Ralph Lauren’s use of guilloch in the February issue of WatchTime.

5711 vs ap ro?
Dear TRF members.I apologize for creating a thread that has been discussed previously.Whilst trying to add another piece, I find myself really confused between the legendary Patek 5711 blue dial, and the Audemars piguet jumbo 15202.Both stunning as most will agree, and the price difference is not an issue as I am already spending quiet a large amount on either.I really love the dial of he 5711, coupled with its rarity, but also like the presence of the RO.Another thing the Patek has, which may sound stupid, is the fact that it is a Patek.I don't mean to say AP is not a great brand, we all know how incredible they are, and I definitely don't think they offer less in terms of quality, but I can't help but feel that Patek is a different league, and one that many aspire to achieve.Which would you pick? Only one choice of course. Appreciate your help, and I am genuinely really glad to have found this forum!I must add that I own a SS Rolex for an everyday use, a speedy that was a gift, and a
Squeaky Bracelet
Bought a Rolex Explorer last week and I love it. Over the last few days the bracelet appears to be squeaking. It is probably just requiring a bit of lubrication but any thoughts on how to sort?
