Rare Lady's Seamaster 120
Rare is an overused term I know, but I have never seen another one of these and neither has my other half so indulge me xxx It is a Lady's Seamaster 120 from about 1966, this is the date version (566.007) with a gorgeous little calibre 681 automatic movement. When I can persuade the other half to open it up I will take a photo. It is in fabulous condition and I feel so lucky. It is about 30mm in diameter, so don't be fooled into thinking it is bigger by my tiny wrist
5396G-14 or 5170G
Title says it all. Currently own the 5170G but opportunity to flip it for the new 5396? Would anyone here do it?
How many 5711/1A are made per year?
Does anyone know how many Nautalus 5711/1A are made per year and how this compares to the SS Rolex Daytonia ? thanks
How to reassemble a glidelock?
This is an inauspicious start to forum life. Hello, I've disassembled the glidelock on my 114060 as I'm a serial tinkerer and I can't for the life of me find how to put it back together. Two little plastic runners came off the glidelock's spring bar at a rapid rate of knots and don't fancy helping me out, any help from you kind, seasoned, eye rolling people?
Is discounting Sports ss watches a thing of history??
Yesterday I was at my AD to pick up my green sub LVc and he was sharing with me that now even black sub have waiting lists and none of the Sports models are offered at a discount! He also shared what a lot have been speculating about , price hike in the very near future which is another reason theyre not giving any discounts on ss models..... maybe a modest discount on DJsSo are discounts off of MSRP a thing of history? My guess is if/when prices increase, any discount then will settle price equal to todays MSRP which is another reason ADs are already sticking to MSRP So looks like price hike is already here, announced by Rolex or not, ADs are practicing it!
