Seiko "Shinji Hattori Special Model" Limited Edition Watch For Japan
Seiko once again teases the world with another Japan-only, high-end watch that they released over the summer (June) in Japan as a very small limited edition. This is a pretty lovely model and is a rare glimpse into Seiko corporate culture as well as humor. It is also very "Japanese" with elements that have double meanings and with the beach theme that is meant to honor the shores of Shonan, which is located in central Japan along the coast. Called the "SH Special Model" (ref. SCQE001), this timepiece is really celebrating several things about the brand at once. Not really an incoming since it's already on my wrist
I purchased a very lightly used PAM352 from Ben at Arnold Jeweler's. It's one of my favorite PAMs for the 1950's case, tobacco dial, and gold hands. The 312/328 felt really heavy after wearing it all day but I haven't had any issues wearing the 352 with the strap.

I'm in the market for a submariner... and heard DavidSW was a great deal. He has a pre-owned Submariner 114060 in pre-owned excellent condition listed for $6100.. just doesn't have warranty card or papers.. 6100 seems very low for an excellent condition pre-owned Rolex sub just because its missing a warranty card/papers... is that normal?.. I haven't seen any good used subs less than 7k... Thanks
