Bell & Ross BR01 Casino Watches
In addition to the piece unique watch that Bell & Ross has created for the Only Watch 2011 watch auction, it looks like they will have a few of these "Bell & Ross BR01 Casino" watches for sale. The Only Watch 2011 version has a black and gold dial and is done in all 18k pink gold (some of it is PVD coated black) . The standard version will be more traditionally toned like a roulette wheel. These watches are based on the Bell & Ross Radar watch from last year. A concept that Bell & Ross keeps playing with. There has been the Radar II, as well as other models based on the BR01 case and dial that uses three moving discs to tell the hours, minutes, and seconds. Patek Reference Numbers
Hello fellow TRFers,I wondered if anybody knows what year Patek started using reference numbers for their watches?I ask as I have just purchased a c. 1937 Patek pocket watch from Derek Dier of Watches to Buy in Canada and he said that he didn't think Patek used reference numbers that early.Any help/advice would be appreciatedPaul

In fact, the legibility of the 5575 is such that it's probably an impractical watch in most circumstances. I'm interested to hear people's thoughts on this and their rationale.
it sure feels like a bubble top in swiss watches
first lets not kid around the new GMT is looking to be the biggest hit in Rolex history .Also Basel this year is the biggest ever from all accounts.mechanical watches are way beyond the recovery stage after the quartz crisis and it seems we entered the bubble stage. like every bubble we need a seminal moment to mark the top and this seems as good one as any..My feeling as a watch collector and stock market trader for 20 years
RSC hold music....
Like their watches, the telephone hold music one is treated to when calling Rolex Service Center Dallas is familiar yet distinctive in its elegance and quality. Kudos Rolex, I expect nothing less.
