Tag Heuer Monza Automatic Chronograph Calibre 36
The figures are very retro looking and they used a cream colored lume described in blue (to match the hands). Bi-compax dial layout for the chronograph is appropriate and the watch is the 36 automatic Calibre. I believe that it is in fact an automatic high-beat Primero El Zenith. It is one of the most sought-after movements of Tag, and you can see through the Sapphire display back.
ROO diver chrono on bracelet?
Hi all - curious if anyone has tried (and have pics) adding a steel bracelet to the ROO diver chrono? AD tells me this is do-able but I'm curious how it would look before ordering an OEM bracelet.ThanksGS
You always come back...
... to the AP TRF forum. So what have I missed gang? I've been away indulging in some of my other hobbies lately and forgot to check TRF until I strapped on my 15300.
Incoming - Naut-E
Gents,Excited to announce the arrival of my latest. 5711 blue, I know, snore. I had the white dial last year which I ended up flipping to fund another piece. I knew I ultimately had to own a 5711 so for once I practiced a bit of patience and phoned my AD to place a deposit. I was like 3rd in line and waited about 6 months. The dial is a real beauty - stating the obvious. It's just more dynamic than the white. I'll overlook the date surround just to gaze at the dial. I've also owned the 15202 - that dial can't standup either IMHO. Enjoy some pics
Day-Date 18238 vs 118238
Sometime in the next year or two I would like to add a YG Day-Date to my collection (used of course). From what I see, prices for 18238s seem to be around the 10-14k mark and 14-18k for the 118238. My question is mainly how much of an improvement is there to be found in the 118238, and if it is worth the extra few thousand. I'm mostly worried about bracelet stretch, for what it's worth. Any owner input is appreciated!
