Jean-Claude Biver has been quick to action as the new CEO at TAG Heuer C restructuring the brand, introducing new Carrera models, announcing an exceptionally economical tourbillon watch, and soon, the brand’s own smartwatch. Learn more in this exclusive interview conducted at Baselworld by Rdiger Bucher, editor-in-chief of WatchTime’s German sister magazine, Chronos.RB: Mr. Biver, what is your strategy for TAG Heuer?JCB: The strategy remains the same. Only a certain amount of creativity and development has been shifted from the upper segment to our core business area. Wanted, leather band for Breitling Navitimer
Hi EveryoneMy father had an old Gen II Breitling Navitimer he boughtin Hong Kong in the late 50's or early 60's. He gave it to me years ago as he quit flying, didn't wear it and it was beaten.I had it cleaned up and and it looks great! I bought the rubber Breitling band for it as I wanted somethingquick at its nice BUT I really would like to get a nice leatherband with a deployment clasp and stitching on the sides. As the watch is main dial is black and the sub dials are a creamcolor Id like a black leather band and was thinking like a creamthread....Where can I get something like this made?I had a great website I found a couple mths ago and now for the lifeof me I can't find it!Thanks!PS Id love to hear any suggestions if you have better color ideas.
Speedmaster exhibition back question
Hi,I'm trying to further my education about Speedmaster exhibition back models, specifically models 3572.50 and 3573.50.I'm aware of, and disinterested in, the debate regarding the difference in wording.I'm more curious about whether both models always have the engraved words filled with a dullish black paint? I've seen examples where the words seemingly were not filled in but rather polished. I wonder if this minor detail might help date the watch?Any one here have a thought or comment about this little bit of trivia? Thanks and cheers!
