Future Watch Tech Revealed: Nokia Eco Sensor Concept Is A Digital Watch You Want to Wear
We usually stay away from far-fetched tech concepts, because it is never a good idea to make one salivate with news of something that might never become attainable. In this instance however, it is probably safe to say that such a device is within our grasp in the next ten years max. The Nokia Eco Sensor Concept brings about the functionality that Star Trek and all science fiction fans have desperately awaited. Namely, a convergence device that functions as a watch, communication device, health monitor, and environmental senor, all in a cool-looking touch screen form factor. While it is unclear whether this is a functioning concept, it uses available technology in realistic ways. From a time telling standpoint, the Eco Sensor merely utilizes available digital technology with GPS to tell the time in the right place. It uses various on board sensors along with the GPS to determine environmental conditions. There are plenty of watches today that use this technology, such as Suunto, which ma
Davosa Vigo Review
We're always on the lookout for brands that offer especially good value for a mechanical watch. Especially if that watch happens to be Swiss made and powered by a high quality movement and even more so if that movement happens to have an interesting complication, such as a GMT or chronograph. Davosa, a German brand established in 1993, specializes in offering such watches. Ranging from a few hundred to around $2,000, the Davosa watches have classic looks, high quality components and the build quality one would expect from a "Swiss Made" watch.? Unfortunately, like many smaller European brands, you (if you're in the US) might not have heard of them. Well let's change that.Case: SteelMovement: ETA 2893-2Dial: BlackLume: YesLens: Sapphire with A/R coatingStrap: Black LeatherWater Res.: 50mDimensions: 40x46mmThickness: 12 mmLug Width: 20 mmCrown: 7 x 4 mm screw downWarranty: NAThe Davosa Vigo Dual-Time is a watch that immediately caught my eye. Dress watch battle

Screwdriver for 42mm Panerai
I have a new PAM 338 42mm RadiomirThe screwdrivers that I have seem to be either too small (ie not wide enough) or too thick (stick in the slot). I would like to minimize the chances of damage to the screws or the case. I am referring to the small screws used to hold the wires for strap changes.Any idea of the best screwdriver for this?BTW I did see an OEM screwdriver for this purpose for sale, but $125 seems steep to me, especially because, until I try it, I can't be sure that it really works better than what I have.L
