Can a 26300 strap fit the 26320?
I was just wondering, given the straps and bracelets are both 11mm across, would a 26300 strap and plots fit the 26320?
New Speedmaster
I own a few Rolex, Breitling and a Ball watch and decided to try a Speedmaster, basic watch, Hesalite, leather deployment. This watch lives up to its reputation.Very comfortable, light weight and easy to use. I can see now why it's so widely sold and touted. Got a great deal on a new one and love it.
Advice Needed: Omega Ploprof 1200M needs service
Sad to find that my Omega Ploprof 1200M which just passed the warranty period by a few months will need service. When adjusting the hour hand to change the date, it feels loose and does not reach the next hour in a definitive manner. Also, when changing the minute hands the hour hand would change correctly until reaching the 9 o'clock then the hour hand would get stuck. Anyone knows what might be wrong? Also, do you recommend omega service center or prefers a local watch shop in Houston, Texas? Also, any insight into what this would probably cost would help as well. I'm thinking about bringing it to the Omega boutique here in Houston but wanted to reach out to my fellow TRFers before doing so. Any advice or things for me to consider will be much appreaciated. Thanks.
Is your Pam ready for the summer?
Mine is ... Walked home frome work ... Via the Madrid Panerai boutique and thought I check if they have something on stock to suit the hot weather ... This is what I picked up. Not as cool as my Wotancraft ...but what do you think? How are you getting thru the summer .. Let us see some pictures, please.
Rolex pressure test -- Chicago area?
I am finally de-lurking to ask a question. Based a lot on what I've learned on TRF, I purchased my first Rolex -- a 2-line Sub 14060M -- about 2 months ago from a Trusted Seller here on the site. I absolutely love this watch and wish I had bought one ten years ago.Anyway, the watch is about 15 years old, and is running well. For peace of mind though, I would like to have it pressure tested before I take it swimming etc.Can anyone recommend someone in Chicagoland that will do a pressure test for me (and maybe replace seals if needed)? Based on older threads, I tried calling Jean Claude the Swiss Watchmaker a couple of times, but his phone just rang and rang -- is he still in business? I also tried the Rolex Service Center on Michigan Avenue, but they won't perform a pressure test without paying $600 for a complete service, which I'd rather not do just yet. Thanks for any recommendations. I'm not averse to shipping my watch elsewhere, but I am hoping there are some local options in
