I spent the day hanging out with IWC in Schaffhausen working on a little video project that will be ready in about a month. But, while bumming around bugging everyone from the museum curator to Kurt Klaus himself, I came across what is just seriously a beautiful watch. I'm talking about the IWC Portuguese Perpetual Calendar In White Gold With A Blue Dial. 2 OF 4 Now if you know anything about IWC and its history with perpetual calendars, you know that Mr. Klaus designed the first QP back in 1985 that was fully operational by just the crown - that means no pushers at all. The movement inside this Portuguese is no different, and the day, month, moonphase, and year are all completely in sync, always. That means if you stop wearing the watch and it stops running, you don't have to set each indicator individually, but rather, just set the date with the crown and all else with adjust itself accordingly. Hi GuysSo i went on the bay to buy some rubber straps for my chronospace. The guy had a few straps for sale but what made me pull the trigger and thinking it's authentic is that he also had a breitling jacket for sale so kinda made me think he was an enthusiast. When they finally arrived from the netherlands i checked out one of his feedbacks saying that it was a fake...so not too sure what to think. Hoping you guys could shed some light..Thanks!

NYC trip

Finally Joined the GMT Club...
As the title states, I finally took the plunge and joined the GMT Master Club... Yeap, after a three week wait, and an outstanding salesman at the local AD, I am the happy and proud owner of a BLNR.Initially, I was almost convinced that I wanted either a DJ II or the newer DJ 41. Visited an AD in Germany to try one on and found the DJ 41 to be a beautiful piece but a bit too small for my liking. I then joined this forum and started lurking around and learning every bit I could about the Rolex brand and its different model variations. This is when the GMT truly caught my attention.About three weeks ago, I went out to take my parents around, whom were vacationing in the area. I decided to go into the Rolex website to see if there was an AD nearby. To my surprise there was one very close by. As I walked towards the AD, I came across another high-end/luxury watch store which is not an AD. Right there on the window they had a brand new BLNR. Went in to try it on but they wanted €1,200
