CT Scuderia Automatic Mechanical Watches For 2013
Enrico Margaritelli's brand CT Scuderia is going mechanical for 2013. A while ago I offered a review of their Corsa Chronograph. The interesting design has a stopwatch-style case that some people loved and that some people were not drawn to at all. At over $1,000, some people felt that they would be more interested in the brand if they contained mechanical movements. CT Scuderia was a bit of ahead of everyone as they were working on mechanical versions of their watches from almost the start. Meeting with Enrico late in 2012, we talked about the future of the brand, as well as what the inclusion of the mechanical watches mean to to the brand. You can also check out our video interview with Margaritelli from that time below. A rather prolific designer, the CT Scuderia brand is among the few very "super Italian" watches he's designed. Without holding back much, there is a various degree of Italian flag spirit in the design. Some CT Scuderia watches have nothing inherently Italian about the

Doubt on Patek 5131
Talked to my local AD today and was told that 5131 can only produce a max of 2 pieces per month because the enamel we all see is indeed a work of art and very difficult to achieve by hand. The tone color is hard to control and keep it stable plus this is done by one single person. Many times the enamel requires a re-work. So to speak, maybe it takes an effort till the enamel can be finalized. Quite an interesting story. If anyone here can confirm this fact, then the 5131 will undoubtedly be a major timepiece to collect one day.
Kyros Project 74 Strap
I was on the hunt for the best 74 strap close to the original one.. Finally I found it.. The Kyros Straps.. The feeling is so great.. You can feel the history on the wrist.. The colour in photo can't tell the truth. In the day light it is exactly the same with the one at the panerai museum.. It is 101% handmade and the leather quality is awesome.. I fully recommend this strap to every paneristi..
Stuff ADs say...
Thought I'd start a thread on hilarious or outrageous things people here have been told by ADs, or overheard at them.A couple of mine:- The D500 white dial is going to be discontinued in 2018- There's a price increase coming next month, so buy now (October 2017)- Datejusts are hot sellers, no discount is available- This year's short supply of Rolexes are because it takes a year to make themI was also once told a story of how someone committed to buy a $180,000 Rolex, but only on condition he be supplied with 2 D500s, one black and one white dial. The AD produced the watches, and then the guy was like I don't want to buy the $180,000 one anymore, but I'll take those two!
