Seiko "Shinji Hattori Special Model" Limited Edition Watch For Japan
Seiko once again teases the world with another Japan-only, high-end watch that they released over the summer (June) in Japan as a very small limited edition. This is a pretty lovely model and is a rare glimpse into Seiko corporate culture as well as humor. It is also very "Japanese" with elements that have double meanings and with the beach theme that is meant to honor the shores of Shonan, which is located in central Japan along the coast. Called the "SH Special Model" (ref. SCQE001), this timepiece is really celebrating several things about the brand at once. Help Me Decide Which Day-Date
A Yellow Gold Day-Date has been my dream watch for a long time. I’m now ready to buy, but can’t decide between 36mm and 40mm. FYI, I’m not a big guy. (5’8” with 6.75” wrists). My other watch will be a stainless Daytona. Any and all advice appreciated. And I like them both! The 36 seems a little small, but the 40 seems a little large. Casket?
I have always asked for a casket for every Rolex that I have purchased, am I the only one that requires this or do others ask for it too? I find the casket's useful for storing my watches in the safe deposit box and good for shipping. I normally store my watches in a casebudi at home.
