Watch Magazines For Your Away From Computer Reading Pleasure
If you are into watches, then you spend a good deal of time online reading about, looking at, or shopping for watches. But you can supplement this time by looking at watch magazines. Yes, there are actually a good number of them. In fact, as watch enthusiasm draws some of the most artistic, mechanical, and style conscious fans, there is bound to be a good deal of well written print content on watches.Watch magazines are a good deal like car magazines in that each has a particular appeal while trying to remain general as well. Some are more "technically driven," discussing watch movements and innovations at length, while other magazines are more "style" or "lifestyle" focused. Technical watch magazines can easily bore readers by going into great detail with gear diagrams and the benefits of new techniques of

Does anyone own/wear only one Rolex?
I only own one Rolex. Why? Mainly because I don't have a lot of disposable to spend a lot on watches. :^) I decided a couple of years ago to save a little bit each month to put towards the Rolex fund. After several months, I had enough to pay for my new OP!! I don't regret buying this watch and it has been with me everyday whether it's in the office, in the woods, or fishing on the river. I don't baby it (too much!) and plan to hold onto it for a lifetime. Is there anyone else out there who only owns or wears ONE watch everyday? If so, let's see it!Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
First for me: Rolex stopped running...
In 30 years of wearing Rolex, I have never had one stop running. Some of you that know me, know that I have bought many project watches over the years and done restorations. Some were real beat up but still ran. My first Sub I wore daily and it was pretty thrashed but still kept good time over 12 years without a service. The bezel was bent, the crown broke, but she still kept good time.Reached into the winder this morning to grab my 16750 Polar which is a U serial from 1996/97 ish. She was not running. Reset time and date, gave a full wind, couple taps and shakes and nothing. She is toast. We had guessed that this watch had never been serviced, and she ran a little fast but still ran. Not complaining at all. I believe this watch ran for 20 continuous years without a service. Really a tribute to how well Rolex is made. Guess it is time for a complete service. Next time I go to the city I will drop it off to my buddy who is a CW21 and my go to WS.
