Orient Excursionist Watch Winner Follow-Up

Congrats again to him:"So, and I've been looking forward to this, my Orient Excursionist was waiting at my doorstep today. The box was a little beat up - but that was UPS's fault. The watch inside was in another box, which was perfectly intact, protected by copious amounts of packing nuts. Orient packaged this watch nicely, in a presentation box with a riveted faux leather finish framing a stainless steel plate. My first impression of the watch was, "Wow, it's big!" But it really isn't, not after you put it on your wrist. (My wrist is quite narrow - I removed three links from the bracelet, and it's still a bit loose; still, watch is nicely proportioned and doesn't look out of place.)My previous watch was a Skagen, which I've been wearing for a while, so I'm really out of practice for such a chunky watch. Passed up a 5164 today... should I have?
I was passing my AD today and so thought I'd pop in for a coffee and a chat..He brought out 2 pieces to show me.. one was a 5711 blue dial which I've never tried on before - Not avail to buy but he also brought out a steel 5164 which was for sale.. we chatted about it and I was tempted but in the end when side by side with my 5167r I decided either it wasn't the right next Patek for me or at least not today..Was I right?Deal was List priceI think had it been a piece that was going up by 20% then it would def have been more likely going home with me.. but as it was I just felt that it didn't sing to me in the way my RG one did... which one and why?i can get either at the same price ... i love the golden hands (loved them on my 372, but it was too big for me) on the 632 and i have mainly brown straps (from my past 002 and 061)springbars make strap changing easier ... and 100m ... are ok, too, i guess, my 210 is 100m, too.thanks for your help.

Finally Joined the GMT Club...
As the title states, I finally took the plunge and joined the GMT Master Club... Yeap, after a three week wait, and an outstanding salesman at the local AD, I am the happy and proud owner of a BLNR.Initially, I was almost convinced that I wanted either a DJ II or the newer DJ 41. Visited an AD in Germany to try one on and found the DJ 41 to be a beautiful piece but a bit too small for my liking. I then joined this forum and started lurking around and learning every bit I could about the Rolex brand and its different model variations. This is when the GMT truly caught my attention.About three weeks ago, I went out to take my parents around, whom were vacationing in the area. I decided to go into the Rolex website to see if there was an AD nearby. To my surprise there was one very close by. As I walked towards the AD, I came across another high-end/luxury watch store which is not an AD. Right there on the window they had a brand new BLNR. Went in to try it on but they wanted €1,200
