Jaeger-LeCoultre Climbers Scale Himalayan Peak
They made it! On October 28, the climbers reached the top. St��phane Schaffter, a Swiss alpinist, Lhakpa Tenzing Sherpa (known as Apa Sherpa) who has a record 19 Everest ascents under his belt, and Little Karim Balti, who has accompanied many sportsmen on expeditions above 8,000 meters, scaled the virgin peak, and as the first to the top, they named it Antoine LeCoultre's Peak. The mountain raises 6589 meters, or 21,617 feet above sea level. They were each wearing a Jaeger-LeCoultre timepiece: a 1958 Geophysic Chronometer, a Master Compressor Extreme Lab, and a new and as yet undisclosed extreme creation prepared by the Manufacture workshops in the Vall��e de Joux. Own a Daytona, do I need a Speedmaster?
I've recently acquired a black dialed Daytona but it is off for service and polishing. I have also wanted a Speedy but have had trouble deciding between the 9300 and moonwatch. Either way, it seems to me that a Speedmaster should be on a bracelet and be black dialed. But then my question is do you think that is different enough to justify a Speedy? At least the 9300 is bicompax with a date complication which obviously the Daytona doesn't have. But the Moonwatch is much cheaper and classic. Anyway thanks for any advice.

Seamaster Pro Quartz
I am thinking about getting a Black 41mm Quartz Seamaster Pro for the simple reason that I could just set it and throw it on whenever I want and not worry about setting. Any concerns about the quartz movement in these?Thanks.

Omega Speedmaster 145012-67 SP
Bought yesterday an Omega Speedmaster. Firstly, I knew nothing, about it. Got some help in an Omega store., I, I started researching a bit, also came to the conclusion that it is one of the first watch on the moon, worn by Mr.Buz Aldrin. Went back to the Omega store, also asked them to open it, really, series nr.26072XXX Model nr.145012-12 SP Looked late on Chrono 24, to see how much it can cost.!! Approximately $ 6,000 Now it exchanged hands, so it affects the price, but it is beautiful ... Have never had Omega .. What do you think of ..? Thanks
