Can anyone confirm there were 3 different Arabic dial versions on the Super Avenger 1
I am trying to buy a Super Avenger and it is very difficult because there are fakes that really look about 99% there. I am having trouble telling the difference between fakes and real SAs. If I could see the movement it would be easy but most sellers don't do this. Can anyone confirm there were three different dials? And better yet, any ideas on approximately when they changes to these dials? 1) I'm pretty sure this was the first Super Avenger, with the deep cuts and bigger Breitling logo, chrome surround on the DW, and AUTOMATIC written over the 6 o'clock subdial. 2) This one has cuts in 7, 8, 10, and 11. Maybe this is the second version?3) 2) This one has smaller Breitling logo and cuts into the 10 and 11 but not the 8. I have a feeling this is the newest version. The reason I'm asking is, prices are all over the map for Super Avengers. It doesn't make sense for me to buy one that is 13 years old if there is one that is 3 years old for the same price. I'm really worried about buying a
RSC Dallas or Independent?
On the fence here. Need to send my U serial 16570 Polar in for a service. Generally will not do polish/refinish, just the movement. My guy who I have used before and trust quoted me $575 for the movement overhaul and 2 year warranty. He is only 120 miles from me, so I can drop off and pick up which saves the cost and hassle of shipping. In the past this would be a no brainer, but the forum has me guessing a little as so many seem to support using RSC.Watch is really only worth $3-4K so once this is done I will have much more into her than she is worth.Curious as to what others might chose.

I need your help refining my watch collection!
Hi everyone,Now that we're entering 2018 i started reflecting on all my purchases in 2017.It was a crazy year as I ended up buying everything I could get my hands on.But I started feeling that it's all about the quality and not the quantity, therefore I've decided to get rid of a couple and only keep the ones that would add something to the collection. In addition I'm looking to add my first Patek ( Nautilus 5712) as well as an AP RO jumbo 39 sometime around Jan / Feb 2018 so the extra cash would help.My current collection:AP RO 15400st 41 white >Rolex SKY-DWELLER 326934 BLUERolex Deepsea DBLUE>Rolex 116500 LN Daytona whiteRolex SD43 50th anniversary >Rolex Sub 116600LV hulk >Rolex GMT Master II BLNR Batman >Rolex SD4000 116600 discontinued.Rolex No date Sub 114060Omega Seamaster PO GMT>Omega Speedmaster Speedy Tuesday Omega Seamaster cosmic 1967>Seiko SKX009JThe watches marked with > are the ones im keen on keeping.
