Longio Tourbillon Watches For 2010
To my knowledge, Longio is one of the only Chinese watch brands trying to push and market their tourbillon watches aggressively. I reviewed one of their Telamon 1000m Tourbillon Dive watches here, and originally discussed Longio Chinese tourbillon watches here. You can find more information about the brand in those articles. Here I would like to share with you a few of their new, or other pieces. I visited them at Baselworld and snapped some shots - though the above images of the green numeraled Asamara Tourbillon were sent to me from Longio themselves.The Asamara Tourbillon watch is probably their most distinctive piece. It also features what I call an "architectural" design that the Telamon Diver watch also had. Not that they look the same, but they feel as though they are adapted building designs as opposed to traditional watch designs. All the watches here have a certain "polish" to their case designs. the new 42mm offshore looks more speical and red/orange accents and aracbic numbers on dial, while the 26400SO's color is most match I think, with white/silver dial matched with black index/red accents and black ceramic bezel,, what would you say out of these three?

Omega Chronometer hang tag
I want to complete a set for my 2231.80 Seamaster 300m chrono that I bought new from AD back in 2000 but didn't the come with the red chrono hang tag nor serial # tag.To my surprise it seems these hang tags are quite rare ! I found two for sale on chrono24 commanding prices around $90.Any idea why these Omega tags are so rare and expensive ? E.g Rolex tags are 7x cheaper and readily available.I even found a site that sells Omega tag replicas

New Addition...
About a month ago I had a chance to catch up with an old friend of mine who is a fellow watch lover... We seem to share similar tastes in watches; as we both own a 5146 and an AP 15300 Black Dial. However, he also had this beautiful Calatrava in Rose Gold which he let me wear for most of the time we were together... and ever since then I was hooked... I just wanted to add one to my collection. I found the Rose Gold just perfect and subtle with its warm tone.My friend's Calatrava:So a few days ago I came across this beautiful Rose Gold Calatrava based AC, the 5396R and the price seemed just right. I couldn't pass on the opportunity and today am a proud owner of this beautiful time piece.I think it will make a great addition along side my 5146G.Thank you for sharing in my joy...Happy Watching...

Hello everyone- I am delighted to find such an informative forum!I have a dilemma, My husband bought a Rolex watch in 1988 for $8,000. The jewelry store where it was purchased provided an Insurance Appraisal which included a retail value of $15,500. When I went to a very reputable dealer yesterday, the gentleman told me that the appraisal makes no mention of the serial number and the model number had a typo 180388 s/b 18038. Plus upon closer inspection the serial number inside the watch had been scratched off and that I would be unable to sell it. I am absolutely sick over this. The original Jewelry store is still in business (after 35 years in the same town) Does anyone have an opinion on how I can approach this with them? Do you think that they will be interested in making this right? Thank you!
