Dievas Classico Blue Watch
Brand new from Dievas is this Classic Blue (also in black as the Classico Blue Professional). A dive watch with a rugged spirit and a designer face, the Classico Blue has a unique design meant to appeal to guys all over the world. Dievas watches always revolve around a diving watch theme. Their last new release was the Vortex, a really great watch that combined the looks of a diver and an aviator. This time, Dievas has gone back into diving watch territory in an inauspicious looking fashion diver that is still up to the task of diving deep. In a 44mm wide steel case with a 5.5mm thick sapphire crystal, the Classico Blue is water resistant to 1000 meters. Perhaps there will be later models with other dial trim colors. So there might be a Classico? Black, Red, Orange, etc.. Who knows.Seeing a watch like this out of context is not always a good idea. Meaning that if you are the middle of big city looking for desk divers you might pass this one over. Be on a boat, or at a tropic beach reso
Dare I?
So I stop by one of the AD in the mall the other day when this beauty caught my I. It's is discounted as they are having trouble moving the watch I guess but my question is why? According to the salesmen it has an older movement (not in-house movement) so my question is are the older omega movements reliable? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
2531.80 Back From Modification
I received my 2531.80.00 back this morning from Steve at Ryte Time. It has gone through a few changes since I purchased it in April of last year.It looked like this when I first received it: (note the ding on the bezel at 55-56 mins)The first thing I did was purchase a Bond 1503.825 bracelet:I then had it serviced and later had a new bezel fitted.I really preferred the 2254.50.00 but did not have the funds to buy another watch, so I had Steve fit the following parts for me:Omega 064WZ3121001 Black Dial (SMP 2230.50.00)Omega 065PZ4136 Hour & Minute Hands (SMP 2230.50.00)Omega 066PZ4094 Seconds Hand (SMP 2230.50.00)ETA 2802 2557.1 Date Ring 3 o'clock White Figures on Black BackgroundOmega 082SU1464 Black Bezel (SMP 2254.60.00)And now my 2531.80.00 looks like this:I did ask Steve to supply and fit a PO 42mm seconds hand, but delivery of the hand was adding to the length of time my watch had been away, (24th of November) So I just went with the (SMP 2230.50.00) seconds hand. Now all I h

Which one would you choose? The watch will primarily be used for business and business casual. My only other Patek is the 5205r with black dial.
SOTDs
State of the Daytona’s: my trio together. My first was the TT 16503. It is obviously the most accessible. I’m fortunate to have a good relationship with my AD and I’m thrilled to have both SS models in my collection to complement the TT.Most people like the white dial more than the black for the SS models. I understand the homage to the Paul Newman and how the white dial is *closer* to the Newman. However, I view the 11650_ series as a watch in itself and not an homage. The fact that these are Daytonas are enough homage for my taste; they wouldn’t be what they are but for Newman and a Daytona in itself is enough of a tribute in my opinion.Aesthetically, I like the black dial the most. This will likely change over time, I’ll likely experience seasons of preference for each individual watch. I certainly appreciate them all.Lastly, I’m fortunate to have small wrists. My wife can wear all of these watches (not that she would wear the stainless m
