The Type XXI watch was inspired by the Type XX chronograph designed by Breguet for the A��ronavale fran?aise (the French naval air arm) during the 1950s. After following texex91's recent experience with the APNY boutique, I decided to call last week to see what they had in stock since I was in NY over the holiday weekend. To my surprise they had all three references I was considering: the 15202ST, FC Diver, and Ceramic Diver. Before seeing any of these watches in the flesh, my practical side had decided on the 15202ST and my young/reckless side had decided on the FC Diver. I had expected a difficult decision-making process, but a clear winner quickly emerged. Any guesses as to which will be at my door in the morning?

Hi fellow Aquanaut owners,Do you all go to an AD every time you want to change (not resize) the rubber strap or do you do it yourself? If you DIY what specific tool do you use or recommend? As you know, the rubber straps have these two prongs at the end where it connect to the watch case and it seems difficult to remove unless I used a specific plier or tool.I once took it to an AD and they had difficulty removing the strap without a dedicated tool and even slipped and marked the back of the lugs while doing so!
