Introducing: The Monsieur de Chanel: Chanel's First Dedicated Men's Watch, And It's Comp
This is an unexpected but very impressive announcement from a truly iconic brand in the fashion world C Chanel C and they unveiled a brand new, men's dedicated wristwatch called the Monsieur. Oh, and it's damn impressive. It's a jumping hour, retrograde with three-day power reserve, a great profile and stunning view from the back. Let's get into the Monsieur de Chanel now. 1 OF 4 The Monsieur de Chanel is the mark's first men's complication, and it's made entirely in-house. The Monsieur de Chanel is Chanel's first dedicated men's watch and certainly first with complication, and what makes that even more important is that it was designed and built completely in-house. And what makes that even more special is that the watch looks fantastic on both the front and the back, and wears like a dream. So what is it? Obviously this is a jumping hour watch, with a pronounced hour display at 6 o'clock. The font used here was indeed designed for this watch

New AP in the house!
I purchased a diver last year and having always wanted a ROO, I got rid of a piece or two that was getting no wear and started looking around. I had a Safari for a short time a couple years ago. Beautiful watch but at the time not for me. Anyway when AP released the new 44's last year I was immediately drawn to them . At first glance the SS was my choice. Having not tried them on do to no AD in my town, and lack of stock when I was able to stop in AD's while traveling, I became convinced through looking at pics only that the forged carbon was the one I would get. It had the cool factor for sure. A few weeks ago I was in Vegas and a couple of the ADs had the forged carbon in stock. I tried it on a few times. Liked it but didn't love it. The third AD had both the SS and the FC in stock, and as soon as I put the SS on I knew that was the watch. It just popped on all levels. The contrasts and level of detail on this piece is absolutely amazing. I came home and went about the business of fi
Roman Numerals falling off Omega Constellation
Hello,So the other day I accidentally fell asleep with my Omega on, something I usually don't do, and to my surprise when I woke up I noticed 2 of the roman numerals on the bezel came off. My dad has the same model in SS and I noticed his was missing the top part of I. Does anyone know why this happens? Is there something I can get the black replaced with so it doesn't happen again? I don't see the point in paying a watch maker to fix it if it will just happen again. Thanks for any advice.
Sell the GMTIIc for an Aquanaut 5167?
Dear all,I've got a nice little collection consisting of:- Breitling Intruder (quartz) - my first Swiss watch which gets thoroughly abused without any worries what so ever. Never missed a beat.- Rolex GMTIIc - my daily wearer that I swim in, take on holiday to the beach, in the shower sometimes, etc. My thought was Rolex can always polish it to near perfection during service, so I should give it plenty of wrist time and not worry about the scratches etc.- Patek 5146G - This is my pride and joy which gets a lot of wrist time during office hours, fancy dinners, and any other time I know it'll live a stress-free life!I got the GMT when it first came out so it's probably due for a service. Dangerously, this has gotten me thinking that another Patek might be in order, and I may have to waive good bye to the GMT (has to be worth what I paid for it or more?). The reasons being:- I'm kind of over the Rolex thing. As much as I think they're great watches, they're a little too flashy for my tast
