Unexpected purchase in HK
Was having a holiday in Hong Kong and wasn't expecting to buy another watch since I just got my new 26470 grey less than a month. Still on honeymoon.😍I did thought of getting the beautiful ROO Diver white dial for my casual usage as I did find the 26470 grey a bit formal for casual usage.Was casually checking around some ADs and most of them either do not have stock for the white dial or discount wasn't good.On my last day in HK, I came across this AP boutique which was newly opened. Just trying my luck if they have the white dial and if I could get a reasonable discount. They have the white dial! After a short negotiation, I was surprised that I could get a better discount from them than ADs. In fact the price after discount was quite close to my regular grey dealer (cash term) in Singapore which I bought my 26470 from.I decided to pull the trigger since it was quite a good price for a boutique and I did not have to pay in cash. Toshi Strap
So I'm relatively new to the Panerai scene, but already love the ease of swapping straps! I love the various browns people use and think they suit the vintage image of a Pam. There are lots of them however so I am feeling bold! Managed to get a lime green oem strap when I bought the watch and love it. After reading plenty reviews here and on various web sites I decided to order a Toshi Strap. I have started tame with light blue and brown stitching. The quality of the strap is the same, if not better than oem! I cannot recommend the starap enough. Very soft and supple from the outset, fits the watch great, and is very comfortable. Not a photographer as you can see, but being a petrol head I have taken a picture of my dream watch (real) next to one of my dream cars (sadly not real and only a model one!).[IMG][/IMG]

Hi there,I'm a newbite and hoping those with experience can help me verify what is and is not a valid Datejust combination.I am looking for a Datejust, 31mm, Steel and White Gold, Fluted, Roman, with a SILVER DIAL.I've been presented this configuration as an option at an AD and have seen it for sale online, but I can't build it as a configuration on rolex; I only see a RHODIUM dial as an option.Can anybody clarify why I'm seeing this discrepancy?Thank you!
