Swiss Army Original Chronograph Watch
Over the summer of 2011 Swiss Army Victorinox released a new version of their "Original watch" that I covered here. It was a modern rendition of the original watch that put the brand on the map. Retaining the good looks and legible dial, the "new" Original watch is more modern in its looks and presentation. Now just a little bit later Swiss Army Victorinox announces and will soon release a chronograph version of the Swiss Army Original. In case it was not obvious, the watch will be called the Swiss Army Original Chronograph. As you can tell, in comparison to the three-hand Original model the Chronograph features a slightly different dial. This is all due to the addition of the chronograph subdials. While they don't specifically mention it, I think that Swiss Army is using an ETA quartz chronograph movement. It is certainly a Swiss made quartz movement at the least. My favorite part of the Original Chronograph is the integration of the chronograph pushers. The large rounded push-pieces lo
My First Royal Oak
Hi guys,I want to take the plunge into AP, and think the original RO series is where I want to go. Im not sure on which one to get though and here is whyI like the 15400 and 26320 but I have small wrists...I am after a chronograph really but not 100% a deal breaker.I like PM, however I cant afford the PM bracelet and for me the bracelet is the best part of the RO, well one of So what should I do guys? Im swaying toward the 26320 blue dial... just concerned about the size on my wrist. Thanks
Does this guy have an AP RO Chrono on?
Does this guy have an AP RO Chrono on?I found it fitting if it were per the article context, where photo is taken.
Seamster De Ville legit?
.ebay.ca/itm/271095087822?...=p5197.c0.m619I'm looking for a relatively inexpensive vintage seamaster de ville. Are there any of you that could potentially identify whether this watch is legit and maybe narrow down when it was manufactured? It states that the dial was professionally redone whatever that means. Perhaps a good estimate on how much you would be willing to pay for this?I believe 2 movements were produced for this watch caliber 562 and 563. This one is 563 so would that help in identifying the watch? Thanks
Rolex Submariner 16610 from 2005 question
Hello everybody,I recently bought a used 16610 witt Papers andere even a full revision at a Rolex retailer. The only thing is the printing on the Deal, which is kind of shiny/glossy wenn you move it in the light. Is this normal? Because the 116610 LV of a friend has a completely mat printing. Also the letters on my watch doesn't seem to be flatly printed on the Deal but more likely a little bit elevated like with 1mm thickness.I hope you understand what I mean and have a look on your 16610. I attached some pictures. Thanks!
