TNT Challenger Black Luna Watch: Something Old, Something New, Something Awesome
Torsten Nagengast is a German-born timepiece enthusiast who has crossed the line. And by crossed the line, I mean took the final step a watch enthusiast can take: from collecting fine timepieces to crafting them himself. Already lauded for his work on handmade projects featuring reclaimed historical movements as well as an impressive one-off Unique Repeater in 18K with diamonds, Nagengast is now preparing to launch his next timepiece, branded TNT (Torsten Nagengast Timepieces), as an affordable triple calendar moon phase chronograph to be called the Challenger Black Luna. Rolex in Dubai Mall
Moving on from India...now in Dubai.Visited the Dubai mall this morning. Rolex only had two stainless steel professional models.Explorer 1 which worked out at around ?4950 compared to UK price of ?4800.The other was the yachtmaster with rhodium dual and cyan hands. Cant remember the price exactly but just under ?10000.SS Daytona is a 3 year wait. No deposits or lists (apparently) but first come first serve.Guess I will have talk to my local AD to get my friend a submariner.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Long Island ADs?
Hey I'm a relatively new member to the forum. Anyone know of any solid AD's in the Long Island/Metropolitan area? Seems like all of these places like Tourneau and London Jewelers are used to catering toward million dollar clients and don't want to give me the time of day.I am willing to venture out to NJ if need be. All recommendations are welcome just want to start a relationship with someone who will appreciate my money!!!Thanks for all of your help!!!
Totally Impulse Purchase. What were the chances?
I am very new to the Rolex world just having bought a 116610LV Hulk. I love it but decided I wanted something slimmer fitting than that for every day wear. I decided the Daytona was probably my best option after reading so much about them here. I knew the ceramic new ones weren't a possibility unless I paid grey prices which I never really considered. I figured the two tone was my best bet as the older stainless models were so inflated in price as well. I stopped by the AD that was kind enough to call me for my Hulk just to see if they had a Daytona (white face) two tone just so I could try it on. I had absolutely no intention to purchase it as I was on the list for a BLNR and wanted to decide before that came in. Well, I tried it on and was so disappointed the white face was just hard for me to read. The owner kinda smiled and said hang on. He brought out a 116520 black face that still had the factory stickers, the papers and original box! I could see it much better than the white fac
