Unemployed Charlie Sheen's Over $700,000 Patek Philippe Ref. 2438/1 Watch
Yesterday, March 1st, 2011 Charlie Sheen joined Twitter. I don't know if this was his first soiree on the site, but in less than 24 hours he had almost 650,000 followers. Amazing. In his third tweet Charlie wrote "The only watch that keeps Warlock time - Class of 1927 ring "Bambino U" Following this was a twitpic of his wrist wearing a watch and a ring on his ringer. But we don't care about the ring. Actually, the ring is pretty cool. It is Babe Ruth's 1927 World Series ring. The one he got after his season setting a home run record. And now it is on Charlie's wrist - a good luck fortune? Doesn't seem to be working as advertised."Warlock time" refers to the statement Charlie made on The Today Show on Feb. 28th, 2011. Calling himself a "warlock." No idea what that means really, but have enough chemicals in your system and you too will be casting spells just to use the toilet properly. In all his drugged out days Sheen has never lost faith or interest in his other vice, watches - more sp
Hands-On: With The Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Openworked Extra-Thin In Rose Gold
My love for the Extra-Thin Royal Oak, known by most as the "Jumbo", is well documented.? It was my very first truly high end watch and I really do believe it is both one of the great designs of 20th century watchmaking, and likely the most balanced wristwatch ever conceived.? The way it sits on the wrist? Ugh. It's just so good.? So, while the focus at AP this year was on the new 42mm Royal Oak Offshores, my personal highlight from the new releases was a new(ish) take on the Jumbo. 2 OF 14 AP's openwork tactics are some of the finest around, and seldom do we see them applied to the Le Brassus manufacture's purest watch, the Jumbo.? There were some limited edition, highly ornate skeleton Jumbos made in years past, and then in 2012, we saw a new take on an openworked Royal Oak, the limited edition 40th anniversary watch made in platinum.? The watch was freaking awesome, and just 40 pieces were made.? The only problem? It cost a literal fortune.? It was around $141,000, if m

I've been looking for a reasonably priced and minty 3575.20 for some time now and I finely found one earlier this week. Well, she arrived yesterday and I couldn't be happier! The blue really sets off the cream dial and the metallic moonphase really beings the whole piece together. Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk
The Omega Boutique Service Experience: My Moonphase Speedy Pro back!
Just got my Speedy Pro Moonphase back from Omega and thought will share my experience in pics with you'll. Was a great feeling, like a new watch buying experience, glad to have it back sparkling new!
Wait for new Rolex @ Basel or go for new Speedy?
I posted on Omega threads but thought I'd get some wise Rolex TRF input as well...I have opportunity to add new Speedy Tuesday (ST) at MSRP to current collection (pic). Would that be too many chronos or too many Omegas? Save up for another Rolex (new Basel release) or up-scale to Patek or FPJ? Problem is ST probably won't last until Basel.... First world problems, I know Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
