What color are the luminous markers on a PAM 233?
Hello there all-Some Panerai dials have markers which are easier to determine the color of (e.g., orange-brown, green). But I'm having trouble with the 233 - depending on surrounding colors (and the band its mounted on), it appears more green or more cream. What color do you see the indexes/markers as on the 233 (steel, not gold version)?
Help me decide between OP36 vs 39
I am currently torn between the new OP 39mm (114300) vs 36mm (116000). I've tried and set my mind on the gorgeous blue dials. With the OP39, the size is ok to me since I am wearing the GMTc. However, I just love the 3-6-9 on the OP36. The reason I lean toward the OP series because I want a Rolex that I can wear everyday, both with suit and short (as in pics below). I found the GMTc's thickness a bit hard to stay under my cuff and the ceramic bezel actually got more attention to compare with the classic EXP1 I used to have.So my question is what do you think between these 2 OPs suit me better? Is the OP36 too small for me? Thank you! Here are pictures side by side.
Addressing Rolex " Under the Radar "
I have seen time and again folks looking for luxury watches in fine dress and sports models with one criteria in mind ... Under the Radar Ok, what does that mean ? You want to be incognito, discreet, modest, unnoticeable, blend in with the crowd, humble, ordinary, moderate, subtle, inconspicuous, understated, unobtrusive, low-key, subdued look, restrained look, prudent, stealth, undercover, covertand or surreptitious ... etc... Ok on and on you get the picture !!! Please forgive me if I've missed an adjective that fits your criteria... I tried to encompass most !!!My point is , if you want a Rolex ... If you want to wear a Rolex... All this mumbo jumbo stealth under the radar stuff actually flies out the window!!! Why ???Wear a Timex, Swatch or Casio if you want under the radar stealth opps!!! Rolex is not under the Radar no matter how much you psych your mind or want it to be ... Yes white gold or SS is less blingy but still Rolex! That said, most people don't even give a hoot about you
I'm sick of waiting....
I'm sick of waiting for Rolex to release a SS Pepsi, but I'd take a SS Coke if they release one at Basel this year. I was hoping they'd release it last year, but when they didn't, I bought a new BLNR to hold me over.My grail is the BLRO so I'm seriously considering trading the BLNR in on a BLRO if an SS version isn't announced at Basel.Anyone else feel the same way?
