The Art Of Selling Luxury Watches To That Rich Wealthy Crowd; Five Tricks Of The Trade!
Spending an inordinate amount of time looking through watch catalogs and marketing materials, I've noticed a lot of noteworthy trends. It seems as though someone, somewhere, has come up with a few rules regarding how to advertise really expensive items to the people that can afford them. Honestly, it is quite humorous much of the time, and from my perspective a lot of the time they are going about it wrong. At the very least, there is certainly room for innovation and improvement, especially if I where doing the buying. Lets take a look at some of the "time-tested" methods you tend to see.1. Rory McIlroy Omega
I was watching the final round of the PGA yesterday and they had an Omega ad with Rory McIlroy in it a couple times. I'm new to the Omega scene, but I really liked the watch they showed (pictured below). Can anyone tell me more about this model, good or bad, and give me an idea of the cost? Thanks in advance
Model Identification Help
I have an old Seamaster that's been in the family for a few decades. The crown has fallen off and have no idea what part it might need. I suspect a new stem is required among other things. Sounds like the rotor is rattling around in there too. Any idea what model thus might be and what year it might have made?ThanksImageUploadedByTapatalk1359732175.567161.jpgImageUploadedByTapatalk1359732233.308790.jpgImageUploadedByTapatalk1359732252.709137.jpg
New guy and thought you would like to see a pic
Hi guys,I am new here and came on to ask some Rolex questions but found the Omega section and thought I would post a pic of one of my vintage babies. This is one in my collection, all vintage and I would be happy to post more rare Omegas including one of the 12 original wrist Tourbillions and a rare platinum bent lug Connie. This watch is one of a pair that includes a rare Rolex GMT. They were given to me by the daughter of the 3 sultan of Malaysia.Enjoy,Farel
