The affiliated companies (by partners Steve Laughlin and Ralf Schreiner) are known for watches that draw from past designs as well as looks that are very original. IWC Connect, An Activity Tracker Integrated Into The Strap Of Big Pilot, And Soon To Be All IWC Spor
Here we go again. Today, IWC made the announcement of a new accessory called IWC Connect. This digital device fits onto the strap of mechanical IWC watches – at first just the Big Pilot – and provides full activity tracking. Further, IWC claims it will be able to control certain devices connected to the "Internet of things," the buzzword du jour. Very, very few details are provided on IWC Connect, or how it will compare to Montblanc's e-strap that you will remember launched in January to much buzz. Omega battery strap
Where and how can I find a replacement battery strap for an old Omega Case # 1455 watch? It's a tiny piece that holds the battery in place. I took it to my local jewelers and they told me the part isn't available. They suggested getting the entire mechanism replaced, which I think is over kill.
