Sinn 240 ST Review
Last year at Basel World, Sinn announced a handful of curious and unexpected watches, from the diving-pilot's EZM 3F to the cleverly vintage 903 ST B E. But perhaps the most surprising was the 240 ST. Utilizing a case that dates back to at least the 80's, this barrel shaped tool-pilot is both new and a throwback. For those familiar with Sinn's line and history, you'll immediately note that the case comes from the revered 140/142 chronographs. Originally powered by the Lemania 5100, these rugged chronos are collector's pieces not just for their style, but also for their historical significance. As discussed in this article here, the 140/142s were, for a time, considered to be the first automatic chronographs worn in space. Sinn has since reissued those watches with their in-house modified Valjoux 7750 movement, the SZ01 and packed them full of their in-house tech. Turns Per Day question for new Breitling
Does anyone know what the TPD & Direction setting would be for my new GMT 44? It has a Caliber 04 movement. I was told that it was Clockwise Only (CW) and around 1,300 TPD? That seems really high to me. Any clarification would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks for your help.

Question from my 18 yr old son
My 18 year old son asked me today while taking a ride with me in my 83' 911 SC Porsche with my no date sub on my wrist, What is the least expensive Rolex?. I was not certain as to the answer, so I pose it to the Rolex lovers on this fine forum (and please don't answer Tudor), I am certain he was thinking of one with the Kings crown on it.

I have a Rolex explorer ii 216570 with a g series serial number my lume seems to be more blue-ish green than the blue specified by Rolex is this normal? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
