Ulysse Nardin Classico Lady Watch with a ring of Sapphire around it
In addition to jewels the dial is made of a complex to the enamel. The great case of 35 mm is 18 k white gold. While the design of the dial is a bit jaded for me, I cannot deny the jewellery-like effort involved in the production. what I don't like, it is the shape of the lugs and Crown, with a ring of Sapphire around it.
And..... i did it finally.. got a AP!
Well after buying almost the entire rolex range over the years and always wanting a ROO i finally did it... i sacrificed a 116613lb and a panerai to get it but im happy. Its a complete set, unpolished with 2 genuine straps, 1 aftermarket and a genuine SS bracelet so all in all im happyI present my Safari lol!
More incoming...
I can now say I am officially part of the AP club after having collected a number of Panerai's, Rolex and Cartier over the years. This is one of the first AP models I was visually drawn to with the exception of the RB2 which is very hard to find brand new and I am just too anal to buy a used watch as I cannot live with scratches or any wear at all.The package arrived at 10:30 am today on the dot and I quickly closed my office door and was tearing open the outside box like little kid on Xmas morning. My operations manager suddenly came into my office in the middle of me opening the box and was asking a question and I told her NOT NOW!!! and sent her out. Here is a teaser shot for now more to follow as I am taking crappy iPhone pics so please forgive me and I am slammed at work today.
Is this normal when date issue on 5167
My 5167 is date starting rolling over to new date around 11:40, therefore you see the date in between. Is this normal?
Bold Basel World Prediction
I'm not advocating for this, simply predicting....With the new Date-Just 41 being (as I understand it) 39.5mm, I could absolutely see Rolex discontinuing the classic Date-Just 36. I feel like the the DJ41 splits the difference betwen the DJ2 and the classic DJ36.I think 39.5 is a perfect modern size. Seems like 34 to 36mm is squarely in the too big for (most) women and too small for (most) men camp. Although the DJ is a classic, they did move the Explorer from 36 to 39.Thoughts?
