Simply Named Eterna KonTiki Diver Is Amazing And Heralds Eterna's Return To The USA
Good ol' Eterna. I am so happy they are soon to be officially distributed in the US once again. Eterna is not well known, and that is a shame. The company actually started ETA, which makes most of the movements in all Swiss watches. ETA was later sold to the Swatch Group. Eterna also makes all the Porsche Design watches. In my opinion, it is one of the most underrated and unacknowledged brands out there. If their marketing department is paying any attention, that ought to change soon when they re-enter the US market. The first watch to be sold along with their KonTiki Anniversary model, is the "Eterna KonTiki Diver." This watch is actually a few years overdue, having been announced a while ago. For me, this is the best combination of features and elements one could ask for in a modern looking technical dive watch. It is an accurate chronometer, it is easy to read, has a power reserve, and has a nice sophisticated look that does not make you look like you drive a large truck everywhere.
Review: Mutewatch
To be honest, I don't usually wear a digital watch.? I find the classic feel and analog dial of a mechanical watch to be far more rewarding and equally easy to use.? Digitals are usually reserved for more strenuous activities that require a more rugged timepiece.? That's when I pull out my trusty G-Shock GX-56.? When I first heard about the Mutewatch however, it changed my expectations for a digital watch.? LED numbers, touch interface, one flowing piece, vibration alertsthis is interesting.? Today, having spent some time with the Mutewatch, I can safely say that it is truly unique and may be the start of a whole new category of watches. The Mutewatch case is one flowing piece of rubber.? There is no separate band, really no seams to speak of, and its screen is hidden under a translucent piece of rubber.? When the screen isn't active, it's invisible.? The time is only displayed on command, through a simple tap on the flat "screen" or a flick of your wrist.youtu.be/Pyk5Pc6x2WEFunctions
First Speedy Pro Purchase!!
Hi All!Had a quick question regarding my first Speedy Pro purchase soon! Unfortunately I was too late to get my hands on the Limited Edition Speedy Pro from Omega, so back to the drawing board. I need some answers from the people to tell me what exactly they love about the 1861 / 1863 / Hesalite / Sapphire. Has anyone had these 2 in their possession at the same time to compare? Pictures to do it justice?I also heard that the 1861 was only Speedy Pro certified for EVA? As the 1863 was just approved for flight and not EVA. Is this true? Just wanted to know, since that is a really cool fact about Omega and the watch itself. I personally like the First Watch Worn on the Moon on the back of mine.Let me all know what you think, this would be a great help going forward! Thanks Again!Nick

Hi guys...I just read this news, I hope its not old for all of you , that a new version of PO chrono for ladies is out, measuring in at 37.5...to be honest, I could even think wearing that size but now that they label it ladeis, it makes it kinda tough to sport that watch, otherwise the size is not so ladyish...its a mid-size, dont you think?..well, anyway, its Omega news and its interesting so here it is watches.infoniac/seamaste...no-ladies.html.luxist/2009/08/10/ome...-for-the-ladi/and here is the picture...it also spots a co-axial movement
