Roger Dubuis Introduces La Monegasque Collection, We Go Hands-On
Earlier this month, Swiss manufacturer Roger Dubuis introduced their entirely new La Mongasque line of watches within the historic Monte Carlo district of Monaco. The venue served as the inspiration for the young brand, who refers to their newest creations as "an ode to gaming, glamour and the Riviera." In their attempt to capture this spirit, they've built no less than eight models to comprise the La Mongasque collection. We were there, and we've got the skinny on the best of the new releases.?Roger Dubuis (first seen here) has managed to scale their manufacturing capabilities to near 100% since their inception in 1995. Production is handled entirely within the walls of their Geneva facilities, where every watch that comes out the door carries the coveted Geneva Seal. For the La Mongasque collection, new calibers were designed and built, meant to embody the next generation of manufacturing abilities for the marque. Help :-) !!!
i am seriously thinking of trading in my 2012 Rolex DSSD to a 2004 AP ROO SS.i have seen the watch. it's in excellent condition. problem is, i had it vibro tested last saturday and it seems that it loses around 18 seconds a day.the AP has never been serviced, it's a safe queen... never got that much wrist time so the owner agreed to a trade...i'm adding a little cash of course.should i go for it or this'll just give me problems in the future...???tnx for the time guys....

Some more PO 8500 Shots
Sorry for the quality and the poor color temp - I was just firing these off in response to a few questions I got.The mesh bracelet is OEM, like others have mentioned. I shot a couple close-ups of the hallmarks. The crown and He valve are really nicely done on this version. I prefer them to the ones on my 2500.My favorite design improvement on this watch versus the older versions is the design of the bezel. The thinner light band closest to the sapphire is much more proportionate than the previous version. I am also partial to the matte, lighter gray of this one as well. Looking back at the older version, it looks (at least to me) to be a cheap version. It almost looks like a knock off. I like the new one much better. Some may agree, some may not.I also got a couple other items from the boutique, but they are a few days behind me. I bought some other things and decided to ship some unnecessary items home via FedEx. The other swag includes Omega/PGA hats and a very nice white and rose gol
